Deercroft Golf Club is under new ownership as of June 1st, 2011. We are committed to restore Deercroft to it's glory days of the 80's and 90's where the layout and conditions took a back seat to no other course in the area.
In recent months, Deercroft, has retained Kyle Franz as consulting architect to create a long term masterplan to renovate the course. Kyle comes highly recommended as a veteran of the design and construction team of world top 20 ranked Pacific Dunes designed by Tom Doaks, as well as Coore and Crenshaw's recent restoration of Pinehurst #2. In addition he will be working for Hanse Golf Design next year on The Olympics Course for the 2016 Olympic Games.
Deercroft Golf Club is a semi-private golf club located 18 miles south of the historic village of Pinehurst. It is carved from magnificent pine forests, with a 70+ acre lake on the property. Deercroft offers one of the most scenic and challenging tests in the North Carolina Sandhills. Golf Digest has described Deercroft as the "Best Kept Secret in the Pinehurst area".
We offer 4 different tees to play from, ranging from 5000 yards- 6600 yards. The course runs through the beautiful Deercroft community, and offers 18 distinct holes, which will make you play every club in your bag.

"The Greens on this golf course are nothing short of Spectacular. They roll fast and true and were a pleasure to play. If new management can carry the quality work they've exhibited with the green complex to the rest of the course it will be a regular destination for meand my group.
To find as good or better putting surfaces, in our immediate area
(Pinehurst vicinity) you would have to spend alot more money, alot more. Can't wait for the warmer weather to see how the rest of the physical plant fills in."

"Last year I played the course with my friend and found that the greens and the overall course was in rough shape. I told myself I would not play here again. A friend of mine played here in September and said the course was under new mangement and the course has improved. I played here on Nov 2 and the greens were great and the improvements on and off the course were excellent. I WOULD PLAY HERE AGAIN !!!"

"The course was in great shape for the winter. The highlight of the course conditions were the greens. They were maintained well enough to grab the ball when you hit them but were greased lightning when putting. The greens were a blast to play on!"
